Dr. Russell Blaylock gives easy advice on how we can protect ourselves from radiation poisoning (a.k.a. "free radical damage") and a real assessment of how how world governments go about covering up the reality on Rense Radio, in a video edited by Michelle Hill.

If you don't have time to watch the whole clip, please read the abridged transcript I made of this informative and important interview, below. Although the escaped radiation from Fuskushima is only 3% of the reactors' uranium fuel, the fallout so far has been 400 times greater than the atom bomb dropped on Hiroshima.

Jeff Rense begins his interview with Dr. Blaylock by talking about how the only isotope readings being discussed are those of iodine and cesium, which have relatively short half-lives. You rarely hear about the plutonium isotope with the 80 million-year half life, which is also part of the Fukushima fallout.

Rense points out this is the same pattern seen in 1986 by the Soviet government, the UN and US monitoring agencies, all over again. Then as now, the World Health Organization and the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency have downplayed the effects of the Chernobyl disaster on its 25th anniversary.

Blaylock says Chernobyl killed hundreds, rapidly (mostly small children, of which there is testimony in the local cemeteries) and it continues to trigger cancers in European populations to this day, totaling in the millions of cases, not to mention the birth defects in tens of thousands of children.

Blaylock's e-book, 'Nuclear Sunrise' was originally written to address the threats of nuclear terrorism. It explains the doses to take of these foods and supplements and how they work. The book can be purchased for download at the website: www.blaylockwellnesscenter.com.

It turns out that NASA has done the most research in this area. Their scientists found that the drugs they'd developed were very toxic, so they turned to natural compounds.

Plant flavinoids which were shown to be radio-protective include:

- Gingko biloba at a dose of 250-350mg per day; it was found to protect DNA from radiation damage.

- Ginger was found to protect animal DNA from massive exposure to Gamma radiation, the most destructive kind.

- Garlic has also been found to protect against ionizing radiation.

- Curcumin (turmeric extract) was found to be enormously protective as well as,

- Quercitin, which is found in fruits, vegetables, leaves and grains and

- Punicalagins, extracted from pomegranates.

- Alpha Lipoid Acid was found to actually reverse some effects of radiation damage in Chernobyl, returning the levels of oxidized protein compounds in the body caused by radiation exposure back to normal levels and in some cases, better than normal.

- Resveratrol, a compound most commonly associated with red wine is also a very potent radio-protectant, in supplement doses of 200mg, twice a day.

- Hesperidin was found to be very protective of DNA and of bone marrow, the blood-forming organ that's the most sensitive to radiation exposure, along with the brain and the gastrointestinal tract.

The above-mentioned plant flavinoids are found to be much more protective against radiation damage than Vitamins C & E. Together, these vitamins are synergistically protective but nowhere near as powerful as Curcumin and Quercitin.

Dr. Blaylock's latest research has been on neurotoxic, nano-scale metals. Many people have heard about the relationship between aluminum with Alzheimer's disease. Nano-scale (i.e., colloidal or aerosolized) aluminum particles are hundreds of times more toxic to the body than non-colloidal aluminum.

It's the same with the particles in the fallout from Fukushima: the SMALLER the particles, the MORE harmful they are, the EASIER it is for them to penetrate your body's cells.

Rense says that the government loves to talk about how the exposure to the TSA scanners and the Fukushima fallout are akin to what one would receive in a "cross-country flight." However, it's like mixing apples and oranges: external exposure is much less potent than *internal* exposure to damaging isotopes, such as strontium-90, which was measured in the US milk supply in the States which tested for it (CA, WA & VT) and which publicly announced their findings.

Following the nuclear meltdowns at Japan's stricken nuclear power plant at Fukushima, the French government issued a warning for its more vulnerable citizens, to avoid milk products and green, leafy vegetables, in a statement saying that consuming these foods at that time equated to "High-risk behavior."

According to University of California's Department of Nuclear Engineering, French officals were furious with the US Government for not telling Americans the truth about the ongoing radiation fallout risk from Fukushima.

Since the French government pays for its citizens' healthcare, they are serious about this!

Beloved Ones,

This month of June is a full and challenging month for you.  It is a time of much cleansing and clearing, a time to step forth and take the path of highest light.  Many of you are experiencing extreme physical challenges.  We ask you to take more care of your physical vessels.  If you strain your physical vessel, and push it to much, you will not be able to maintain the integrity of ascension.  By this we mean, integrated ascension, ascension with ease and grace, and well being.  When you abuse your bodies through the substances you put into it, the liquids you drink, and the foods that you eat, you only make the path more difficult for yourselves.

When you reach a certain plateau, a certain light quotient, you will have absorbed as much light as you are able to contain.  Your God Self is limitless, expansive, all encompassing, and eternal divine light, yet it is the game you chose to play in which you encased yourseves in a physical body.  To move forth with ease and grace, once you have reached a certain light quotient, you will find that you must begin to come into physical alignment more fully, if you have not already.  Your inner guidance will let you know that you are in a sense, being held back in raising your consciousness, until your physical body has come more into alignment.

Beloved ones, we ask you to practice moderation in all things.  Moderation in the foods that you eat, the liquids you drink, and all that you put into your body.  Your body is a Temple for your God Self, and this is you.  Take care of your blessed temple.  Love it honor it, nurture it and it will love you and respond to you.

You may meditate and speak to your body elemental, as we have asked you to do, and you may assist you body greatly, in staying in alignment.  Be attuned to your inner wisdom, it will never lead you astray.  Many of you would benefit through the releasing of habits such as cigarettes and alcohol.  Many of you would do well to consider eating more raw vegetables, more raw foods, which are the living light of God.  These foods contain the life force needed to sustain your body through ascension. These foods are filled with the building blocks which sustain, and create new tissue, and build your healthy body.  Yes, you are building your light body, but please do not neglect your physical body.  It will respond to you with vibrant health, but you must go the distance through these challenging times.  You are meant to enjoy the pleasures of earthly life, in a physical body, which is vibrantly healthy, a body of eternal youth.  When one has the choice, most choose a body with a physical structure and age of about thirty five years.  You are returning to this, dear ones.  it is available much sooner than any of you are expecting.

Dear Ones, remember to savor the journey, remember to enjoy this journey living each now moment. It is why you are here, to savor the pleasure of having a physical body, to savor your pleasure in the highest emotions of unconditional love, joy, peace, harmony, and beauty, and to enjoy the eternal abundance which is your divine birthright.  The more choices you make which are aligned with God's will within you, the more quickly you will be able to enjoy these bounteous gifts.  You will enjoy ease and grace and synchronicity in your lives, and miracles will occur.  When you savor the journey, you are also living in the now moment.  This is the moment where all your power is, dear ones.  This is the moment when you are creating.  The past is complete, and you must plan for the future, but live in the Now.  The Now is your Creative power.  The Now is your divine connection with the All That Is.  The Now is everlasting, never ending, and it is bliss, if your choose to stay on the straight and narrow path and make it so.

The straight and narrow path is also the path of impeccability, and yes dear ones, it seems so much to do, but the higher you raise your consciousness, how much better do you feel?  Do you not find these moments where life is joyous and glorious, and more and more these moments are occurring and they become days, as you learn to live in the love of your sacred heart?  We know so many of you have reached this level and we know that once you have, you will never stop reaching for self mastery.  The love, the joy, the peace, the harmony, and the abundance is free flowing in your lives and you now have a sample of what your earthly journey will be.  Dear Ones, keep your focus on what is good around you, and see the good in all others around you.  As you do this, you will encourage them to live their highest truth and there will be a highest outcome for all.  Your world expands to an even greater brightness.

Forge ahead, beloved ones, with dedication and determination, as you remain in the love of your sacred heart.  I am always with you.

Yeast Extract Is Hidden Source Of MSG In Your Food By P F Louis

Just about everyone who visits Natural News knows that MSG should be avoided. But crafty food processing firms have found ways to disguise MSG's most active ingredient -- free glutamate. There are several ingredients and names used. And they all contain some free glutamate. Free glutamate is the active ingredient of mono-sodium glutamate, or MSG.

Loopholes and Deceptions

A loophole is provided by the legislated labeling laws. It's within a section that says if the free glutamate or glutamic acid is less than 78% of an additive, it doesn't have to be labeled MSG. So if you're getting a flavoring ingredient that's 75% glutamic acid, it can be labeled solely by whatever form in which it appears. Then the MSG term won't be on the label to push concerned consumers away.

Another deception is the food industry's claim that glutamate occurs naturally. It does very sparingly appear in plants bound with a protein or other molecules. Bound glutamates are benign, and they are not concentrated enough proportionately in foods to create much "excitement."

But synthetically produced glutamic acid is a glutamate that is free from other molecules. And whether it is 7.5% or 75% free glutamate it can avoid the MSG labeling while delivering high doses of glutamic acid or free glutamate in each bite of food spiked with whatever enhanced flavoring additives are named.

It's cheaper to use these chemical additives than more expensive oils and natural spices for enhancing food flavors. But it cheats by exciting the brain's cells into making you believe the flavor is in the food and not just in your head. So one buys and eats more cheap dead food while getting fatter with less nutrition, to say the least.

Some processed natural foods with additives containing free glutamates, such as yeast extracts, claim "no added MSG," which is technically accurate but very deceptive.

A restaurant owner who doesn't use MSG can pass on this deception because that owner doesn't know all the food industry tricks for the items he uses, sauces and dressings for example, that contain free glutamates disguised with different labels.

Yeast Extract contains free glutamate

Yeast extract is a very common flavor enhancer that doesn't even appear to be a flavor enhancer. After all, yeast is food and it's used for baking, right? As a matter of fact, the name yeast extract is so food-like it is confidently marked on the labels of many "natural" processed foods, some of which are sold in health food stores.

Ingredients such as "yeast extract," or "autolyzed yeast," and "hydrolyzed yeast" all contain a percentage of free glutamates or glutamic acids. Here are some examples of foods with yeast extracts while saying no MSG. These are extracted from the Truth in Labeling (.org) website:

Foods Containing Damaging Poisons

Did You Know...

...that dozens of everyday "health" foods containing brain-damaging poisons, which seriously threaten your health—and such foods are not regulated by the FDA or other government agencies?

     "Your food can be a killer—and I don't mean just the junk food", says Dr. David Blyweiss. That's because processed foods—even so-called healthy foods—contain additives known as "excitotoxins" that cause serious neurodegenerative damage like Parkinson's disease ... Alzheimer's ... dementia ... Lou Gehrig's ... multiple sclerosis ... lupus ... and more.

     "The main culprits are the additives monosodium glutamate (MSG) and aspartate (a component of NutraSweet) that lace our foods to enhance their taste," says Dr. Blyweiss.  Excitotoxins have been used for decades to pump up the flavor of processed foods like soups, snacks, sauces, gravies, and also many low-fat and vegetarian "health" foods.

     Excitotoxins also come in the form of Sucralose (Splenda), cysteine, hydrolyzed protein, and aspartic acid.  Plus, MSG is called by at least 30 different names on food labels, including—unbelievably—the word "spices," an alias accepted by the FDA.

     These chemicals are perfectly legal ... but frighteningly dangerous according to a growing number of studies suggesting their damaging effects on the brain.



How Excitotoxins Got Into the Food Supply


     Right after World War II, researchers isolated monosodium glutamate from the Japanese sea weed kombu.  This involved stripping away the healthy components, including enzymes and minerals.

     Today, MSG shows up in virtually all prepared foods, including restaurant food, even when their menus proclaim, "We add no MSG."  That's because they don't have to add it; it's already in the food they receive from suppliers.

     As for aspartame, that comes from the amino acid aspartate.  We take it in through diet sodas, sugarless candy and desserts, and from those little pink and blue sweetener packets.


Do-It-Yourself Brain Damage

     At the base of our brains just above the brainstem is the hypothalamus, a vulnerable region not protected by the blood-brain barrier that otherwise keeps our brain safe from harmful substances.

     The hypothalamus controls certain metabolism and activities of the autonomic nervous system, along with body temperature ... hunger ... thirst ... fatigue ... sleep ... and the release of pituitary hormones.  Anything that affects the hypothalamus has the potential to do serious harm—and excitotoxins do just that by causing inflammation and damage in this critical region.

     According to the latest research, excitotoxins over-stimulate neuron receptors, resulting in cell death.  That means regularly consuming excitotoxins like MSG and aspartame can eventually kill off enough brain cells to cause permanent damage.

     Ronald L. Meyers, Certified Nutrition Consultant, says that the only reason for adding these chemicals to foods is to enhance the taste and thereby increase sales.  "This is death by profit margin, because the research is clear regarding the damaging effects of these additives. Profits are more important than people to the food processors!"

How to Avoid Excitotoxins

     These food additives show up in virtually all processed foods.  MSG is added to potato chips ... flavored crackers ... canned soups ... dry soup mixes ... canned meats ... diet foods ... soy sauces ... salad dressings ... cured meats ... and much more.

Aspartate appears in diet foods as aspartame or NutraSweet.

     Spotting these additives on labels isn't easy.  Artificial sweeteners turn up not only as saccharin and aspartame but also as sucralose, acesulfame potassium (acesulfame-K), and neotame.  And, as mentioned, MSG goes by many names other than monosodium glutamate, including "spices" and even "natural flavoring."

Getting Excitotoxins Banned

     Despite the tireless efforts of many, the FDA has staunchly resisted taking action against aspartame or MSG, or even requiring clearer food labeling for excitotoxins.  At one point, baby food companies took MSG out of their jars, but not anymore.

     Dr. William Douglass Campbell cited a recent study that showed that 2 servings of diet soda increased the risk of premature birth by 38%, while 4 servings a day boosted it by 78%.  Another study conducted in Italy found a link between aspartame and cancer in lab rats at doses equivalent to what humans regularly digest.

     Nonetheless, the FDA continues to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the health threats posed by excitotoxins.

Nutritional Protection Against Excitotoxins

     Eating mostly fresh, whole foods is the best way to avoid excitotoxins.  When you do buy processed food, read labels with care.  No matter how careful you are, you will ingest excitotoxins as long as you eat in restaurants, at the homes of friends, etc.  For this reason you may want to take nutritional precautions against the damage these chemicals cause.  Natural health practitioners, including Dr. David Blyweiss, recommend the following nutrients and supplements:

  • Vitamins C and E—These vitamins may neutralize the impact of excitotoxins in the brain.  Choose at least 1,000 mg. of vitamin C daily.

  • Other Antioxidant Vitamins—Beta carotene, Vitamin K, and Vitamin D are valuable support.

  • Minerals—Magnesium, zinc, and selenium also shield cells by protecting glutamate receptors from excessive excitotoxin absorption.

  • Vinpocetine—This natural antioxidant from the seeds of the periwinkle plant might safeguard brain cells from the damage induced by excitotoxins like aspartame.  Vinpocetine also acts as a vasodilator, which means it increases circulation and helps deliver more oxygen to the cells.

     "Vinpocetine appears to have an amazing track record for safety up to 60 mg. a day," says Dr. Blyweiss.  "But, since vinpocetine does have blood thinning effects, if you're currently taking aspirin or any other blood-thinning supplement or drug, or are being treated for a cardiac or vascular disorder, make sure you talk to your doctor before trying this herb."
